Aaron's Hyper IgM Journey

Easter

We celebrated Easter a few days early while Michael was home.  Aaron enjoyed his Easter egg hunt and it was good practice for him getting up and down off the ground (that is very hard for him to do).  He got a new Curious George movie from the Easter Bunny and he loves it.  He often asks "What is George doing?"  Then he responds to his own question "George is a curious monkey."

This is the bottom of the hill in the parking lot.  Mike has been working with Aaron to build up his strength.  They walk up and down the hill two times a day.  On Easter Sunday when Mike was gone, Aaron walked to the closet to get his shoes and asked to go walk on the hill.

We spent part of Easter praying and reflecting on what Jesus has done for our lives.  After this reflection, I no longer worry about Aaron.  I will continue to protect him as we have for nearly two years now, but I no longer carry the burden of worry.  Aaron is going to be just fine!

  2. Christy Burns, an inspirational girlfriend of mine (to say the least!) passed this on to me. I want you to know that even through we are "strangers", your beautiful son is in our prayers. Trust God. He is so much bigger than any disease or doubt and can surpass any medical knowledge and diagnosis. My family has seen his power firsthand, and He loves and knows this little man more than you, even as his Mother, can fathom. Worry is a waste. God is all powerful. He has his loving arms wrapped around your baby and is providing the ultimate comfort and care. We're rooting for you all!

  3. Christie couldn't have said it better...I don't know her but respect her and love the touching sentiments about Our Father...Aaron is indeed in the hands of God and I'm grateful you have put all your worries in His hands. We continue to pray for Aaron, you and Michael that a miracle will be had. Stay strong Chandelle and trust in The Lord. Hoping for some peace of mind and heart for you. xxoo
